Understand before designing
Start with users, SMEs and the business to understand what is actually causing the problem — not just what appears broken on the screen.
Over the past 13+ years, I’ve designed products across healthcare, financial services, enterprise platforms and consumer experiences — often in spaces where the workflows, rules and systems behind the product are anything but simple.
I like getting close to the problem — understanding users, SMEs, business goals, operational constraints and the systems behind the experience. From there, I work with teams to turn ambiguity into a clear product direction, validate it with users, and carry the experience through delivery.
Start with users, SMEs and the business to understand what is actually causing the problem — not just what appears broken on the screen.
Look across workflows, data, rules and handoffs to remove complexity rather than simply making complexity look cleaner.
Move from early concepts to user validation and delivery in close partnership with product, engineering and stakeholders.
I’m particularly interested in how AI can reduce cognitive load, surface relevant context, identify issues earlier and support better human decisions inside complex products.
Areas I’m actively exploring in product design.
Clinical workflows, ordering and operational platforms
Trading, banking and complex transactional experiences
Workflow modernization, design systems and platform thinking
Outside of design, I’m happiest spending time with my family, traveling, trying new food, and occasionally attempting to improve my golf game.
I’m naturally social, curious, and always up for a good conversation. I tend not to take myself too seriously, and I bring that same openness and energy into the teams I work with.
